The Department of Pediatrics in the Faculty of Health Sciences at Queen’s University invites applications for a full time academic pediatric respirologist, who will also provide some coverage of the pediatric inpatient ward and pediatric critical care unit. The successful applicant must be eligible for or have certification in pediatric respirology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) and be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
As a full-time member of the Department of Pediatrics, the successful applicant must demonstrate a strong aptitude for teaching in undergraduate, postgraduate levels and continuing education programs. Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated evidence of a history of high quality research or with a strong emerging research focus and the potential for developing an independent research program. Applicants should also provide evidence of an ability to work in an interdisciplinary, collaborative environment.
